How long has LoN existed?

We have only been around since 2007, the guild was created merely with purpose of playing Warhammer.

What Games has LoN participated in?

LoN as a guild ofcourse hasnt participated in any other game, but the members have played together in both Dark age of Camelot and World of Warcraft. After playing in other guild we decided to make our own.

Are you Order or Destruction?

We have chosen to join forces with the Destrucktion side.

What server do you play on?

We play on the highly populated EU-server: Karak Eight Peaks, whick is a core server.

What kind off Guild are you? Casual? Elitist? ect.

we are a casual guild, but serious when we play. We strive to be a RvR guild mostly, but A good PvE run is never out of the question. We what to be a guild that help eachother out, so we encourage group play more than solo. All members will help out if help is needed, and all members knows the help comes free not a favour owed.

What kind of qualities do you look for in a guild member?

We have a Charter, and we do our best to follow it. No one is perfect, mistakes happens, but we work to correct them. In order to know if you are right for our guild, there are a few things to ask yourself:

  • Do you believe in honor and integrity, and always
  • treating fellow players with respect, even if they are
  • your enemies?
  • Do you believe in loyalty, and staying with the guild not
  • just through the good, but also the bad?
  • Do you believe that improvement of the guild comes
  • first, not loot whoring for yourself?
  • Do you believe in sharing knowlegde with your guild
  • mates, not hording information for personal gain?
  • Do you believe in trying something on your own, not
  • begging for help before you even attempeted it yorself?
  • Do you believe that you represent the guild, and you try
  • to watch tyour actions so you do not hurt the guild's
  • reputation.

If you answered yes to all the questions, then LoN might be the guild for you.

How much of a say do I have in this guild? Do I need to be an Officer to have a voice?

For the most part, we treat our guild like a family.  Every member here has a voice, and everyone has a say in any major guild changes.  No major changes will occur without you knowing about it, unless you don't read the forums or pay attention.  The Officers are there to help run the guild, keep everyone in line help to make sure things run smoothly and that everyone is having fun.  Essentially the Officers are the people willing to go above and beyond to help out.  But we listen to what members think just as much as any officer.

How much time do I need to put into the guild?

We have no time requirements. The amount of effort you put forth in the game and towards the guild simply affects your place in the guild.  If you just log on the game, don't talk much, don't participate in activities or the forums or get on voice chat, you will be rather low on the rooster. But if you enjoy organizing groups to help guildies, are active on game and on the forums, you will quickly rise.  It all depends on what you want out of the guild.  The point is, though everyone has a voice in the guild, its hard for everyone to have an equal voice.  If one member is active, participates in events and is constantly helping members, where as another member doesn't do squat, well, it is sometimes difficult to give the two equal weight

Do you use a chat program?

We are currently using ventrilo 3.0.1, which you can download here.

I'm interested in joining, now what?

Well if you have not yet done so, I recommend grouping with our members to see how well you mesh. I also recommend posting on our forums, and keeping in track with members on game as you get to know them.  If you are confident you wish to join, post your Application on the forum.  If you still have questions, feel free to contact Elvicof in game, or any Officer.
